Slice The Pie. Make Money Listening to Music!

Today I decided to try out a new money making website just to make a little more extra per month as I always am and although I have heard about Slice the Pie I had never tried the site. The website, which is here allows you to listen to music, 90 second clips at a time and you must write a review of them. I write my reviews while the music is playing and I am always over the character limit before the song ends. I find this site very easy to make some money, and I am no audio expert. I tested the site for 11 minutes today and I managed to make $1.33. This isn't much, but you can do this site in your down time as much as you want and this definitely is much more of a money maker than other sites and apps I have talked about. I usually set goals for myself which each site/app I use to reach each day and I feel like $10 would be reachable on slicethepie in just over an hour. I made an average of 17 cents per song, and this took only 90 seconds. This is the start out pay for everyone I believe and it is already what is the minimum wage in most states, just to listen to music. If your reviews are good, you are able to move up in time and make even more. I plan to work on Slicethepie more to see my results and I will report them here. The minimum payout for Slicethepie is $10, paypable via paypal and I am hopeful to make this amount each day with a little work.

Good luck and happy listening everyone.

Jingit Update -- Debit Card Received!

Yesterday I received the debit card that you are able to order with the rewards app I wrote about earlier this month called Jingit. It came very quickly, and the card looks better than expected. It is a Visa with the Jingit logo on the top left. This is pretty handy for the rewards app since you can simply load the Jingit card as you make money on the site and then use the card as you please. The activation was quick and easy as it should be.

So far my experience with Jingit has been pretty mediocre. I have made around $5 on the site, and so far it has been difficult to make much more money using it. Still, I make a few cents here and there and it may not seem like much but this could add up to around $100 a year, which if spent wisely could turn into much more.

I found a new rewards app that deals with QR codes that I will be writing about soon after my initial tests of it.

Update on Mining -- New Pool / Hardware Updates

I have realized that Triplemining may not be the best site for me when it comes to long term mining simply because of the pay per 24 hour method that they use. They only pay you for the shares you solved in the last 24 hours, which is great, if the block ends in a decent amount of time. However, this current block is approaching 700 hours and at this point if you have a Jalapeno miner like myself all that run time is netting you close to nothing. I have decided the new pool I will be using is called Multipool. They also allow you to mine for other coins that use a similar algorithm as bitcoin and they pay based on how many shares you solved compared to the number of shares total, which is much better. I will update on the type of money that I am able with my miners using Multipool in the near future.

As far as my hardware, all is doing well since I got it. I have 6 ASIC erupters that are constantly going and I also have the BFL jalapeno which runs at a constant 50 Celsius  I have fans on all my equipment that is running to ensure that it stays cool. I am so far satisfied with how quickly it can produce, going over 11 GH/S almost all the time!

Bitcoin ASIC Miners!

About a week ago I decided to invest in a Butterfly Labs ASIC Miner as well as a group of six block eruptors that came as a set. I knew that there was a good chance that I would not gain back my investment but I figured it would still be a cool experience to see what this thing can do. I paid around $700.00 for everything that I got and it came in the mail today. I use Triplemining.com as mentioned in a previous post as my mining pool. Well, 3 hours into the mining I am throughly impressed. The machine has already made me $5.50 worth of bitcoins in just 3 hours. This is 1/2 of what a calculator said it would make in 24 hours so it is well above the pace. I read many articles saying a small miner like this, the Jalapeno, was not worth it anymore because of the investment not being able to be returned. Even with the difficulty going up I believe this mining setup will still be able to make back what I have in in less than a month. If you have been discouraged about investing in a small miner please do invest! Using triplemining seems to be good and is outdoing any calculations I had seen before. If you are wondering how to get started mining I have a previous post that briefly explains it and I am willing to answer questions too!

Happy Mining everyone!

I will keep up to date how this miner is doing as well as how much income bitcoin mining can really make with a small investment.

Jingit -- Similar to Shopkick

Two days ago I discovered a new app that allows you to gain money by watching videos, scanning barcodes and getting cash back by scanning a receipt. It is called Jingit. At first it appears that there is not much to be made on this site, but I felt like giving it a try anyway because any money is more than I had. At first you can watch videos, which they stopped me at four of them or $.75. This only took 3-5 minutes so I felt it was worth my time.

The next way that it allows you to earn money is by scanning barcodes, exactly like shopkick. Jingit, however, does not have nearly the amount as shopkick and they are not as available  I had four on Jingit yesterday that I scanned while I was doing shopkick. This netted me $2.00 which was great for the time but I am not for sure when they will be back.

You can also get money if you are interested in the items on the app and want cash back. Personally, the only one on there I would buy is the yogurt so I can tell this section is not as much for me, but it may be for some. They offer over $1 per most items cash back.

Jingit appears that it will only allow you to earn $10 a week without any referral  This is okay to me, since an extra $40 a month just for this would fill up my gas tank once, but it appears the more you refer the more potential you have as with most sites.

Lastly, Jingit offers a debit card that you may sign up for once you hit $3.00 earned. I am $.25 away from this, but I plan to order one once I am able so that I can use it for gas / groceries if this app does indeed allow me to make up to $40 a month.

I will keep up to date how this app goes, and of course post new sites I find. If you have any experience with Jingit feel free to comment below!
